Kinston Dog Walker gives the best care possible and I always include a loving-touch in each provided service. I am excited to spend my time with dogs because I love them and believe they should be treated as equals.
I am well trained to take multiple dogs off-leash or on and I've worked with a lot of breeds, sizes and different types of dogs - they are all great! The dogs will keep moving as a single pack and if weather cooperates we usually cover 4+ miles each adventure, unless I have a couple of small ones. I love to create small groups of dogs (no more than four at a time) who work well together. They have some great trails for that in a couple of small towns surrounding Kinston. There is a wonderful dog-friendly environment here. All the dogs I've ever walked have unique personalities, and to me, giving them the chance to explore that part of themselves is the best part of what I do.
I carefully treat each dog as a member of my family and make sure they are comfortable at all times. I transport the dogs in air conditioned vehicles. I always take water breaks during the hike (every 30 minutes) as well as when I drop them off at home. Most of the trails I use include lots of shaded areas so direct heat is a minor issue. I am careful about the ground temperatures for their paws. I spray the dogs for ticks prior to each walk, I use biodegradable bags to collect and dispose of their waste and use natural cleaning wipes to remove any poison oak oils, lingering ticks and/or remaining residue.
I take great pride in my work and want to make sure the dogs have a safe, healthy and fun experience. I want to be the best part of their day whenever possible!
